You can now use CVS.com functionality on the run with your iPhone or another mobile device from Apple, thanks to our newly released CVS/pharmacy mobile app. Available as a free download from both iTunes and the Apple App Store, the CVS/pharmacy app is easy to use – whether you want to schedule a flu shot, refill or transfer a prescription, find the nearest CVS/pharmacy location or build a customized shopping list using the weekly sales circular.

Earlier this year, we launched a similar app for our PBM plan members. The CVS/pharmacy app allows customers to:

• Refill or transfer prescriptions from a prescription history through a secure, personalized account
• Access the Drug Information Center to retrieve critical details about medication management, including instructions for use, dosing information, side effects and relevant safety warnings
• View and manage sales circular to create a custom shopping list and identify money-saving deals each week
• Find the nearest CVS/pharmacy location quickly and from any location using the GPS-based store locator
• Schedule a flu shot at any local CVS/pharmacy location

Like our PBM app, this was created as part of our overall effort to make it easier for people to manage their prescriptions and to access important health care information.
