The publishing of our 5th Corporate Social Responsibility report stems from two of our core values: accountability and integrity. We believe we are equally accountable to all of our stakeholders: our patients, customers, employees, shareholders -- and the communities within which we do business.
In this year’s report, Helping People on their Path to Better Health, we have measured and reported our progress in such areas as workplace, diversity, governance, products and services and the environment.
The title of the report captures not only our company’s newly-declared purpose, but also offers an appropriate summary of our progress in 2011. We helped many people get on that path, whether through our community giving or sponsorship programs, employee volunteerism or fundamental changes to the way we do business.
