CVS Caremark and Hispanic Heritage Foundation Team to Promote Latinos in Health Care

We're making a very exciting announcement today: CVS Caremark is partnering with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation on a new program to encourage young Latinos to grow up and work in the health care field.

Along with HHF we will be recognizing 30 Latino high school students - three from 10 different regions across the country - who have not only excelled in their studies but who also have signaled an interest in entering the health care field. Those 30 students will be given grants to continue their education as well as opportunities for internships as they prepare for college.

The program adds a "Health Care" category to the HHF's Youth Awards program that attracts more than 10,000 students annually to compete for recognition in a variety of fields.
